Today's walk report: 012719

It's January 27th. That's winter in the northern hemisphere. It's t-shirt weather here. In fact we saw a couple guys out jogging in shorts and shirtless. No matter how good you think you look, please don't do that. Thank you.

I think this is Acacia farnesiana.

Some aloe that I gave up searching for specifics on.

Bulbine frutescens, aka, snake flower.

Phoebis sennae butterfly on Penstemon centranthifoliu, aka, scarlet bugler.

The same female Calypte anna we saw being swooned yesterday.

Same bird feeding at the scarlet bugler.

 Another female Calypte anna.

 A yellow-rumped warbler in a eucalyptus tree.

  1. Beautiful ! Where’s Rusty? I’ll bet he ran off with some floozy...

  2. An Acacia would look great planted in front of your garage.
