Yesterday's butterfly and today's walk report

Yesterday's backyard butterfly, the always hyper, giant swallowtail (Papilio cresphontes).

Onto my walk for today, Saturday, June 8th.

These are "happy chappy" groundcover roses. Seriously, that's what someone named them. They grow no more than two feet above ground.

Matilija poppies (Romneya coulteri).

Apache Plume (Fallugia paradoxa). Both the plume and the bloom.

This is some type of Ruellia. I think it's Ruellia humilis, AKA, prairie petunia or wild petunia.

Not Dusty.
