Today's walk report: 093018

To the garden and back, no cheating with the car and the walk felt great! This walk took place from  8:30 to 10:30 A.M. with an average temperature of about 75º. I won't try and convince anyone but I'll just say, all of that is a big deal. AND... it appears we're going to have some thunderstorms on Wednesday! WE. NEED. RAIN.

Here are the photos.

No ID.
Bee on Salvia.
Same bee, same salvia, head first.
Looks like Docken fed this hare, happy hare.
I'm almost certain this is a green darner but it was pretty far away.
Lesser goldfinch on the bee's salvia.
Melaleuca thymifolia.
Another lesser goldfinch picking seeds from Salvia uliginosa.
La luna, Waning Gibbous.

That's all. Thanks for taking a look!

  2. Congratulations on taking that next step! (Pun intended.) I'm hoping the rain comes through for both of us. One weather service is predicting just a third of an inch for us over Tuesday and Wednesday, while another is projecting over an inch. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too far...

The mystery plant with the intricate lavender flowers is Melaleuca thymifolia.
