Got out late.
Only visited the local college arboretum.
70.3º to 74.5ºF, with very bright sunny skies.
A bit blustery too.
Tropical milkweed (Asclepias curassavica) should be cut back within a week, but it probably won't be.
I spotted 7 monarch butterflies (Danaus plexippus).
There were also two Gulf fritillary (Agraulis vanillae) butterflies.
The Coreopsis 'Moonbeam' is still flowering!
Roses are red (sometimes).
The All Valley Band Tournament is today, campus stadium.
There were a bazillion kids playing soccer.
I only walked 1.4 miles.
I can hear marching band drum cadences INSIDE MY HOUSE (0.84 miles away!)
In general, people are annoying.
The lovely Junimoon has been in my lap for about 98% of the prep and composition of this post.
Photos from today, October 24th.
Epitaph (including 'March for No Reason' and 'Tomorrow and Tomorrow')
Knowledge is a deadly friend
If no one sets the rules
The fate of all mankind, I see
Is in the hands of fools

Confusion will be my epitaph. Sounds about right. Lovely pics of monarchs and Junimoon
